High absorption

Biatain® Fiber Ag effectively absorbs and retains high volumes of exudate and effectively transfers exudate to a secondary dressing. The unique HexaLock Technology integrates the gelling fibers in a reinforced hexagon net, giving Biatain® Fiber Ag the strength to lock in exudate to reduce exudate pooling for optimal healing conditions.

When exudate is absorbed, silver is released within the dressing. A surfactant has been added to help the silver access bacteria within the dressing, for rapid antibacterial performance within 30 minutes of application.**¹ It offers sustained broad spectrum antimicrobial activity for up to 7 days.*²
