SenSura® Mio Convex has a curved shape that fits securely to uneven or inward areas, and to stomas that need help to protrude. Its unique elastic adhesive adapts to your body’s natural shape and movements—while staying discreet thanks to its filter* and pouch design.
Key benefits:
- Adaptive convex barrier that adapts to your body contours with integrated flexlines provides both stability and flexibility
- Elastic adhesive that follows your individual body shape for a secure fit
- Any occassion or any situation, choose the pouch color that makes you feel confident
- Full-circle filter that helps reduce ballooning*
With SenSura Mio Convex 1-piece closed, the adaptive convex barrier is permanently attached to the pouch. When it’s time for a change, you simply remove the whole pouching system and replace it with a new one.
SenSura Mio Convex 1-piece closed also available in different convex options—Soft, Light, and Deep—so you can find the support that matches your stoma and body.
The Soft convex is ideal if the stoma sits above skin level but still needs a little extra support due to challenges around the area.
The Light convex is designed for stomas that sit level with the skin and need gentle support to protrude, or for slightly deep-seated areas where a light curve helps achieve a secure fit.
The Deep convex provides extra support for stomas that sit below skin level, or for deeper-seated areas where a stronger curve is needed for a reliable fit.
SenSura® Mio Convex is available in a wide range of pre-cut and cut-to-fit sizes, with pouches offered in different sizes—transparent or with an inspection window—so you can choose what works best for you.
No two bodies are the same. Each person has a unique body shape and size – and our bodies continue to change throughout the day as we move. That’s why finding an ostomy barrier and pouch that truly fits can be a challenge.
- SenSura Mio Convex has an adaptive convex barrier with an elastic adhesive designed to maintain a secure fit to uneven skin areas, deep-seated areas and stomas that need support or help to protrude.
- The adaptive convex barrier that adapts to your body contours with integrated flexlines provides a unique combination of stability and flexibility.
- Skin has a natural elasticity that helps it bend and stretch when the body moves. Like skin, SenSura Mio Convex is elastic, so it bends, stretches, and retracts with your skin when your body moves.
SenSura® Mio looks different than any other pouching system because it designed to optimize discretion and security.
- SenSura Mio is the first ostomy product made with soft, woven fabric that feels gentle on your skin and looks more like a piece of clothing and less like a medical device. Its low-friction material sits comfortably under clothing and is designed to stay “quiet,” so you won’t hear crinkles as you go about your day.
- SenSura Mio pouches are water repellent which means they stay secure and feel dry after contact with water.
- SenSura Mio colors are chosen among hundreds of colors to find the ones that optimize discretion under most clothing colors – both light and dark clothing.
- Have you ever had problems with your ostomy pouch ballooning? The full-circle filter has a unique pre-filter that is designed to reduce this problem.
- The job of the pre-filter is to protect the carbon and membrane, as those two parts are very vulnerable to faeces. Therefore the full circle has proven to reduce ballooning with up to 61%*, the full-circle filter clogs less frequently, so the airflow through the filter lasts longer and you experience reduced ballooning.***
- The full-circle filter will improve discretion and help you sleep better at night.
